Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead an application development team supporting cutting-edge Geospatial software and delivery.
Technical Project Manager / Lead Application Developer: We are looking for experienced senior software developers to act as lead application developers for large customer-facing projects. You will be helping to design and build applications for customers on top of the company product suite.
Requirements:
- Strong Coding Skills: Applicants should have a strong history as a lead software developer (no non-technical project managers, please) and should be a top-notch C# and TypeScript programmer or equivalent transferable skills from similar languages.
- College Degree Required: A four-year bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum 7 years Work Experience: Minimum 7 years of work experience required post-college in software engineering.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance: This role requires an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- On-Site Hybrid: This role will require being on-site multiple times a week and requires living within approximately 30 minutes of driving distance.
- Technical Project Management Experience: You should be highly organized with a strong history in either technical project management or as the lead developer for complex software development projects.
- Customer Facing: comfortable meeting with sophisticated customers and managing expectations on large high-value projects.
Typical Tasks: Typical Tasks include both writing code and leading planning activities. You will often be acting as the lead technical point of contact on customer engagements, running internal and external planning meetings, helping to wireframe user interfaces, creating specs for the public-facing APIs that drive them, doing deep dive code reviews with developers, and writing code for key portions of the deployed application.

Hybrid OnSite / Remote: This role allows working remotely approximately 50% of the time from within 30 minutes driving distance of the site location. On site time will be for active meetings, and active debug/test/integration sessions. We are a commercial product company and substantial work can be done un-class from home remotely on most days.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI
