Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Developer to join our team at our client’s site in Alexandria, VA.

Senior-level SharePoint Developer with extensive experience in building Out-Of-The-Box (OOTB) SharePoint products and configurations, leveraging custom front-end development technologies, and developing/deploying SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms. Experience with Office 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform required. Candidate will need to be able to effectively communicate with customers as well as self-prioritize tasks. 

Role sand Responsibilities:

·       Experience with development in SharePoint Online (PowerAutomate/Flow, Forms, PowerApps)

·       Configure SharePoint-based sites, pages, lists, libraries, and workflows

·       Create and modify SharePoint with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, workflows, WebParts, Apps, and Solutions

·       Work closely with business users to review requirements. Develop, recommend, and discuss technical designs that meet those requirements and demo solutions to key stakeholders

·       Establish and help maintain end user access policy and permissions

·       Provide ongoing support for SharePoint related issues/inquiries

·       Create, plan, and execute end-user SharePoint training sessions for staff

·       Assist and advise business users on the effective use of applications and information technology

·       Work closely with Senior SharePoint Developers, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and business office subject matter experts on a variety of projects. Connect with a growing team that develops innovative solutions.

·       Work independently on tasks within a larger development team in an Agile like environment

Required Skills:

·       8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree is required. Commensurate experience for education.

·       3+ years of SharePoint development and architecture experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016 and Office 365

·       2+ years of business process analysis, user requirements development and documentation, system development lifecycle (SDLC) programming and systems analysis

·       Strong hands-on web development skills and knowledge of front-end development tools and languages

·       Hands-on development experience with SharePoint Online and development tools including Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, .NET, HTML, JQuery, and Power Platform

·       Experience building complex out of the box SharePoint Solutions using, but not limited to Power Platform

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical staff or customers

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience supporting SharePoint migrations to Microsoft Office 365

·       Experience performing hands-on development within JS frameworks including node.js, React.js, and Angular.js

·       Experience in SSOM, JSOM, CSOM, REST API, SPServices, Master Pages, Layouts, Visual Web Part, PowerShell and SPFx (SharePoint Framework)

·       Knowledge of SQL and SQL reporting services

·       Microsoft SharePoint Certification
