Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Software Integrator to join our Client's team.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:-Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows hardware platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed application
  • Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer
  • Develop installation scripts to automate the system installation
  • Develop test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct, be responsible for integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation for software test reports
  • Coordinate execution of SW integration tests to verify system operation
  • Work with software developers as needed to diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software integration and submit problem reports for errors found
  • Responsible for implementing all Information Assurance directives on systems to include running IA scans
  • Task and coordinate daily integration activities with other local team members


Basic Qualifications

  • Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent; applies extensive expertise
  • Solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
  • Work is performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long time perspective; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives
  • May function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.


Preferred Qualifications:

The position is for a Software Engineer and requires previous experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system.


Strong technical skills in the following are required

  • Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration, including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up-Experience with VMWare systems administration and installation
  • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system
  • Experience with PowerShell/Bash/Korn scripting languages (developing, debugging and maintaining)-Experience with Git Version Control System-Experience with HP Anyware


Basic skills/experience desired:

  • Previous experience with C2BMC mission applications-Knowledge/expertise in the C2BMC concept of operations and user interface
  • Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development


Note: Occasional travel will be required for this position to include support to installation and checkout at customer sites (including OCONUS). Will be expected to work at Hwy 83 and/or on-site at the MDIOC as required for software deployments.
