Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join our team at our client’s site in Nashua, NH.

Position Responsibilities:

With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments

and programming languages

l

l Develops, documents and maintains software design by applying established methods and practices.


Performs troubleshooting of defects. Collaborates with others to propose solutions to problems.

l Gathers and organize data for use in plans, schedules and estimates.

l Assist in the specification and maintenance of software requirements.

l Integrates and compile software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment.

l Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.

l Performs troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May gather and document data on subject matter.

l Performs other duties as assigned.

This team works a 9/80 compressed schedule – 9hrs a day with every other Friday off.

Remote work is possible but idea candidates reside in New England area (MA, NH, RI etc.)

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. (Is this correct?)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

l Experience with common web frameworks and technologies (HTML5, CSS, React, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

A working knowledge of object-oriented computer programming with direct experience using Visual Studio, C#/.NET, NodeJS,

JavaScript/Typescript

l

l Knowledge of, and skill in applying basic software engineering principles and practices sufficient to perform highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher-level

assignments.

l Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and customers

l Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience

or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master’s ).
