Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join our team at our client’s site in Mary, MO.

• This role will join the Software Development Team of the F-15/T-38 Mission Planning Organization to ensure the delivery of quality products to the United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Develops and maintain code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. The role will also be an integral part of the migration to the next generation mission planning system over the next five years. Specifically, working in a common development and integration environment. Follows company software standards and processes.

Position Responsibilities:

o With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software

o development environments and programming languages in order to implement design and satisfy

o allocated requirements.

o Develops, documents and maintains designs for software consistent with the defined architecture

o and requirements/regulations by applying established methods and practices.

o Performs troubleshooting of defects. Proposes solutions to problems.

o Supports development, documentation and maintenance of software architectures.

o May support software requirements development by performing analyses, preparing flow and logic

o diagrams and performing trade studies. May support interface definition and allocation of

o requirements between hardware, software, and operators. May participate in requirements

o reviews.

o May select, tailor and deploy processes and tools; may establish metrics.

o May perform evaluations, contribute to proposals, assess benefits of available technologies and

o perform trade studies.

o May perform troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May maintain and analyze

o performance data and advise more experienced engineers of potential issues.

o Performs other duties as assigned.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

o Degree and basic experience in software development: Bachelor' s or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

o Experience the C#

o Basic understanding of Scaled Agile Framework enterprise (SAFe©) or Agile in general.

o Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Degree and typical experience in software development.
