Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst Programmer to join our team at our client s site in Tacoma, WA.


Skills:

  • Performs installs, updates and version upgrades for supported applications, as needed
  • Assists in resolution of production application/operational problems as necessary
  • Assists users in answering questions to ensure the applications are properly used in conjunction with their business process
  • Develop documentation necessary for other staff to perform primary tasks on a backup basis
  • Assists in resolution of problems for in-house developed and vendor applications, working with vendors as necessary
  • Develops new applications per specifications
  • Documents all changes according to The Everett Clinic standards
  • Provide timely communication on status and issues on a weekly basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Frequently must follow written and oral instructions as well as complete routine tasks independently
  • Completes annual compliance training on HIPAA/Privacy/Confidentiality/Non-Discrimination/Harassment/Integrity Statement and signs Agreements
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TEC policies
  • Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TEC policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal regulations
  • Has regular and predictable attendance

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of database structures, data definitions, and data relationships
  • Knowledge in all areas of system life cycle development
  • Strong group participation skills and the ability to work well with other team members to achieve results
  • Ability to prepare detailed implementation and test plans
  • Preferred knowledge and experience working with healthcare-related systems such as financial, claims and clinical
  • Preferred experience programming in .Net framework, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML
  • Preferred experience using Microsoft SQL including queries, stored procedure and backups
  • Ability to document system processes and procedures
  • Ability to be self-directed and learn quickly with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Ability to analyze, define, and resolve complex technical problems
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities and adjust them as the circumstance dictates
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly while interpreting and offering appropriate solutions to customers
  • Strong project management, process, and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent time management; able to work on multiple projects concurrently

Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems preferred

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years experience in program development in a time-critical environment such as a healthcare organization using mainstream programming tools and methodologies
