Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Project Coordinator- Jr. to join our team at our client’s site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.



Our Client is looking for a Jr. Level Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team of 7 in the PMO. There are mainly Sr. Level PM's and the need is for someone to help support and help coordinate the ongoing small to medium size projects across the organization. 

These projects can come from various departments within the company and may or may not have a IT/Technology component to them. The ideal candidate will have experience with project or event coordination across an enterprise. 


The Project Coordinator will acts as liaison between the Project Management team and the various departments within the organization. This person is responsible for providing project management support and coordination on an as-needed basis, assisting with the management of the project life-cycle development process from project initiation to implementation for small to medium projects.

The Project Coordinator works under moderate direction on a variety of projects, and demonstrates flexibility, adaptability and a desire to learn to take on more.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide project management for projects and complex help desk requests at the request of business units or IT. Ensure project management life cycle is followed.


Administrative duties / other duties as assigned:

Testing, attending seminars and classes; providing written status reports as required; attending staff meetings as required.


Minimum work experience:

2+ years’ project coordination or event coordination work experience

(Preferred) 2+ years’ experience with project coordination in a financial institution setting and a familiarity with the Project Management Life-Cycle


Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:

Ability to come up to speed quickly in other areas of expertise relevant to the success of the project or program.

Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.


(Preferred) Experience with Project Management software (Microsoft Project, etc.)
