Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Product Manager to join our Client's team.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional teams comprised of both business and technical roles during the product development lifecycle; champion the needs of clients; develop detailed requirements and feature definitions; partner with IT on development, testing & implementation plans, as well as internal communications & deployment plans.
  • Work with both business stakeholders and technical teams like Front End/Back End/Middleware Engineering, QA, Architecture, PMO, UX teams, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements, creating buy-in from other teams as necessary.
  • Assess scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA and design. Proactively identify issues. Work closely with key business leaders at senior levels.
  • Synthesize business requirements, identify areas of uncertainty, recommend solutions, gather buy-in from relevant stakeholders, shepherd features through development and provide support at launch.
  • Develop metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management or software development, preferably for payment or finance eCommerce products with a large user base.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and vendor negotiation in partnership with business teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital payments technology and trends
  • In-depth payment processing knowledge
  • Comfortable working on both technical platforms and user-facing features
  • Strong drive and curiosity to come up with new ideas, identify opportunities and create vision to drive the business forward.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

Nice To Have:

  • Prior experience in a multi-channel retail environment or other customer-focused technology products.
  • Experience with complex integrations.
  • Strong technical background is nice to have, but more importantly, they have a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with payment analytics.
