Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a IT Accounting System Administrator to join our team at our client’s site in Redwood City, CA.

The IT Accounting System Administrator will be directly responsible for the successful implementation of Coupa electronic invoice processing and procurement system, administration and support for the accounting systems and applications, managing Microsoft Windows operating systems, backup and restore of SQL databases, SQL servers, experience in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulation and ITGC audits. The IT Accounting System Administrator is responsible for managing Microsoft Great Plains, Reqlogic, Coupa, Windows servers, troubleshooting application problems, backups and restores, apply servers’ patches, apply industry standard for network security and provide end-users support.

Job Responsibilities

·      Project manager and technical lead for the implementation of Coupa, managing the SOX documentation and procedure for Coupa implementation

·      Implement, administer and provide support for Coupa Electronic Invoice Processing and Procurement system

·      Administer and manage Windows operating systems and servers for accounting systems

·      Configure, administer and provide support for Great Plains application

·      Configure, administer and provide support for SQL databases and maintenance

·      Configure, administer and provide support for Tensoft MNC

·      Configure, administer and provide support for Great Plains Smartlist and Management Reporter

·      Configure, administer and provide support for Reqlogic Procurement system

·      Configure, administer and provide support for Agiloft Document Management system for User Access Controls and Application Change Controls for SOX applications

·      Administer and manage Great Plains user accounts activations, access changes and deactivations in SOX approval and reporting systems

·      Administer and manage Reqlogic user accounts activation's, access changes and deactivations in SOX approval and reporting systems

·      Administer and manage admin/superuser accounts activations, access changes and deactivations in PayChex

·      Administer and manage admin/superuser accounts activations, access changes and deactivations in Equity Edge

·      Administer and manage Coupa user accounts activations, access changes and deactivations in SOX approval and reporting systems

·      Generate monthly and quarterly SOX smart list reports for Controller and SOX auditors

·      Generate periodic SOX audit reports

·      Manage meetings for SOX application administrators with SOX auditors

·      Administer daily accounting systems and databases backup and restore operations

·      Perform quarterly accounting systems server backup and apply Windows operating systems security and updates patches

·      Manage SOX testing before and after quarterly Windows operating system patching

·      Perform annual database backup and restore to Great Plains test environment

·      Create and maintain SOX IT policies and perform annual SOX policies management reviews

·      Work with vendors to support and administer accounting applications and systems

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including robust analytical skill with a focus on preventative actions

·      Provide end-users helpdesk support for software and hardware, applications and printing issues

·      Comply with Company IT policies and procedures, change controls and SOX ITGCs

·      Perform other duties and assignments as required in special projects

Required Skills and Background

·      Bachelor’s degree in IT technologies or related fields with 7 years of working experience in progressively more responsible roles similar to key job responsibilities of this role

·      Experience in Microsoft Great Plains

·      Experience in Coupa

·      Experience in Microsoft SQL databases

·      Good project management skills

·      Good documentation skills

·      Proficient in SOX ITGC auditing and regulations

·      Proficient in Windows operating system at system administrator level

·      Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent team player, good documentation skills

·      Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skill, ability to prioritize and take responsibility to resolve problems efficiently and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment

·      Demonstrate drive to learn new technologies and keeping abreast with current technologies

·      Ability to work outside of business hours, as needed, to provide accounting systems support and maintenance
