Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Training Device Technician 1 to join our team at our client’s site in Miami, FL.


Gathers information to support the repair and test and assists with installation, configuration, upgrade and modification of basic simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software. Assists with general pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices. Orders, ships and receives parts and components. Gathers information to support troubleshooting of mechanical or electrical faults. Works under close supervision.


The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Training Device Technician at the Miami Training Campus in Florida. The Training Device Technician will maintain flight simulators and associated training equipment.


Position Responsibilities:


Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training device;

Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted equipment.

Assist with repair and test, install, configure, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software;

Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components;

Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators;

Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment;

Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components;

Work under limited supervision



Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Experience with electronic/electrical systems


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


Experience in assisting in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
