Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join our team at our client s site in Oakland, CA.


Position Description:

Coordinates and administers the web based facilities work request system (CAFM) including the assignment of resources, communication with internal customers on request status and follow-up. Produces system reports as required.

Administers security access badge photo IDs which includes the production and distribution of photo IDs, maintenance of system data base, ordering of supplies and coordination of system maintenance with supporting vendor.

Provides hands on support and coordination for internal Facilities projects to include adds/moves/changes and duties as assigned related to larger Facilities projects

Processes invoices for products and services for review and approval including maintaining invoice hard copy files and on-line invoice tracking spreadsheets and creating requisitions and Purchase Reqs

Administers and coordinates receipt, documentation (COI s), temporary storage and delivery of computer equipment and promotional items

Coordinates all service calls for office equipment

Administers and monitors vendor contracts and agreements including Certificates of Insurance and Non-Disclosure agreements.

Supports the Floor Warden Team program with quarterly updates for roll call rosters and team member lists. Back up to incident commander during emergency drills and emergency situations.

Assists with annual key and security card key audits

Responsible for annual disaster recovery supply inventory for the enterprise

Prepares monthly metrics reports from Centerstone and Softwrench

Monitors offsite records storage program including box deposits, retrievals and annual destruction.

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education is preferred, but candidates with proven experience will not be excluded from consideration

* A minimum of 2-3 years of facilities experience

* A minimum of 2 year of related experience specifically building systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Lighting, Plumbing and/or Emergency Power Backup

* Some supervisory experience preferred

* Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities

* Detail-oriented; flexible and creative

* Basic mechanical ability

* Good customer services, interpersonal and communications skills

* Working knowledge of modular furniture systems
