Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Client's team.


Must have an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance prior to start date.


Requirements

  • Requires minimum 5 years of platform engineering/support.
  • Three (3) years of experience developing and operating containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes
  • Developer platform services and APIs that scale in production.
  • Building and sustaining production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure; building and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Requires prior experience working in a collaborative environment requiring frequent teaming and written/verbal communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing, reporting, and facilitating certification of access for all in-scope resources (including PaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems).
  • Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.
  • Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 10% travel.
  • Prior experience deploying Platform as a Service (PaaS)
  • Automating platform management at enterprise scale.
  • Experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable.
  • Experience building continuous delivery and integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience responding to software outages and executing postmortem reviews including root cause analyses.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency.
  • Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors.
