Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Change Control Manager to join our team at our client s site in Arlington, VA.
The candidate will work closely with the Configuration Control Board, a function of the Configuration Management Program (CMP), which charters operational readiness, provides change management, configuration control, and coordinates with the CIO or D/CIO on the review and approval for all Request for Change (RFC) actions proposed by the various customer users for the customer's production or operational IT enterprise. Manage the Gate reviews with the IT staffs to ensure changes are made with awareness and approval. Awareness escalation to executive leadership is done for significant or impact changes, delays, or requirement requests. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

Experience with JIRA
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM tools
Change management certification or designation desired
Education: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Clearance: Must be clearable
