Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Business Application Developer with .Net experience to join our team at our client’s site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Our client is looking for a Mid- Level Microsoft Application Developer to help with an ongoing migration project. This will be a mix of applications that need refactoring or replacing to be able to be moved into a .Net/SQL Server 2016-2019 environment. This individual will work heavily with the end customer/stakeholder to ensure the proper testing is competed and the applications run effectively based on the business needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experienced with building and deploying Microsoft Business Application tools and frameworks including:
- MS .Net (ADO thru MVC)
- IIS 5 thru 8
- SQL Server 2000 and newer
- Crystal Reports 10 and newer
- Classic ASP
- Access 2000-2010 (Forms and DB)
- MS Office 2010 Integration
- Source Safe thru TFS
- Win XP thru Win 10
- MS Server 2000-2012 - for both Client-Server and Web business applications
- Familiar with Microsoft Server and SQL Server 2019 setup, configuration and administration tasks
- Experience with software build processes, inspection of source code, configuration management and deployment of web and client-server applications
- Experience with creating as-built and support documentation
- ITIL Foundations and Security+ certifications a plus.
- Experience migrating applications to Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments a plus
The ideal candidate is more of a generalists and knows about MS Technologies from a full stack perspective as they will be building apps, writing new code, enhancing existing code, deploying applications and subsequently administering them. Troubleshooting skills and detailed documentation are also must haves.
