Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Product Data Management Engineer 3 to join our team at our client’s site in Hazelwood, MO.


JOB DESCRIPTION


Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products. Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products. Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops technically complete change proposals. Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools. Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering product structure. Develops, integrates and implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions. Works under general direction.


• Position Responsibilities:


o Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.

o Develop the implementation of Configuration and Data Management Customer Deliverables.

o Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.

o Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, configuration and contractual requirements.

o Support development of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.

o Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products.

o Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops technically complete change proposals.

o Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools.

o Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product life-cycle.

o Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering product structure.

o Works under general direction.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):


o 4 year engineering degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

o 1+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools

o Experience with configuration management of complex integrated systems

o Experience with software configuration management.


Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:


o 1+ years of experience administering software configuration management tools ClearCase and ClearQuest


Typical Education / Experience:


Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
