Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our team at our client’s site in Huntsville, AL.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity. Leads the development of test procedures
  • Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
  • Design calibration system/test fixtures
  • Develop data processing tools and algorithms
  • Generate calibration procedures and software
  • Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
  • Oversee debriefing of the test team
  • Lead the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements
  • Approve test data prior to delivery to customer
  • Formulate expectations for test data based on historical data
  • Perform functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity
  • Trains others
  • Work under minimal direction

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor' s, Master' s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
  • 3+ years of experience in Nonconformance Processing
  • 3+ years of experience with electronics trouble shooting, repair and schematics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with circuit card and/or electronics manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
