Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Sr. RX Logic Technical Lead to join our Client's team.
Desired skills and experiences are as follows:
PBM Platform Engineering
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of RX Logic PBM platform solutions to support client requirements.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on RX Logic, guiding development teams on platform functionality, configurations, and best practices in the PBM space.
- Develop and optimize technical solutions to address business needs within the PBM ecosystem, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and improving member/patient outcomes.
- Ensure seamless integration between RX Logic PBM platform and other external systems, including EHR/EMR systems, claims processing systems, and drug formulary databases.
- Provide hands-on coding expertise and mentorship in platform-specific languages, tools, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and client requirements.
- Support testing and debugging of platform-related issues to ensure a high level of system quality and functionality.
Team Leadership
- Oversee and manage a team of technical developers, ensuring the successful delivery of platform enhancements and client-facing solutions.
- Coordinate team efforts, including sprint planning, task delegation, and monitoring of work-in-progress (WIP) items using Agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira or similar platforms.
- Lead the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, testing plans, and deployment strategies.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management, outlining completed tasks, upcoming milestones, and any roadblocks or issues that require attention.
- Set and enforce code quality standards for the development team, ensuring best practices in software development and adherence to PBM-specific regulations and guidelines.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Overall Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5+ yrs experience in the RX Logic PBM platform, with a deep understanding of its capabilities, integrations, and use cases within the pharmacy benefit management space.
- 8-10+ yrs technical experience in software development with 5+ experience in languages and technologies relevant to RX Logic and PBM platform development.
- 2+ years experience in Agile methodologies and team management, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within healthcare or pharmacy industries, with a deep understanding of PBM processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, managing remote teams and collaborating with clients across different time zones.
