Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Solution Architect (Remote) to join our team at our client’s site in Herndon, VA.

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect to support their Federal Growth team. Candidate needs to have a strong grasp for the big picture, which should be anchored by the ability to understand a customer’s business drivers, objectives, and goals while being familiar with the overall ecosystem required inclusive of people, process, and technical approaches to meet the customers’ requirements.

This resource will work with senior leaders and practice area leads to drive consensus on the overall solution while bringing forward the solution story in a compelling way that is compete and compliant in meeting the customers objectives and requirements.


Responsibilities:

-Lead the designated proposal team to produce a unified, end-to-end high-quality proposal for each opportunity that is easily understood and evaluated by clients

-Analyze customer goals, objectives, and requirements (technical and business) to support the development and facilitation of anchor and key concept development inclusive of win themes, value propositions, and graphical representations

-Drive the process to reach consensus and agreement on the anchor concepts and high-level solution with peers, customers and partners

-Conduct brainstorming, storyboarding, wireframing sessions to arrive at baseline and anchor solutions that can be matured and tailored throughout the Business Development (BD) lifecycle

-Develop whitepapers, presentations and demonstrations

-Work with other SMEs to incorporate Karsun core capability intellectual property into tailored solutions

-Work with BD and Capture Managers to develop compelling win themes, value propositions, and deal winning positions which achieve the customer objectives, goals, and requirements while providing superior value

-Work with Proposal Teams to guide proposals that articulate the holistic solution in a consistent way across technical and management volumes


Required Skills:

-8+ years of experience serving in the Federal domain in a combination of delivery, implementation, project management, and business development capacity

-5+ years of writing Federal proposals

-Strong proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing information to formulate a big picture understanding and support developing clear end-to-end solutions to address requirements/problems

-Delivery experience with Agile, DevSecOps, Service Delivery, Operations, Cloud, Data, and Emerging Technology directions

-Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive consensus and collaboration across both business and technical domains

-Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to be a storyteller and presenter


Desired Skills:

-Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field 8+ years of system implementation experience

-Shipley or equivalent Training (Business Development, Capture, Proposals)

-Experience in the Fed/Civilian sector

-Technical or Professional Certification in domain (e.g., PMP, Agile, Service Delivery, Cloud))


Education:

-Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
