This Data & Analytics Program Manager is to have a track record of technology leadership, including business scoping, delivery roadmaps, setting up software delivery schedules, managing C-level IT and business stakeholder expectations, and holding vendor and client teams accountable to delivery standards of quality and time (milestones). This team member is also to have a proven track record of program/product management successfully delivering data & BI analytics solutions in cloud environments.
-10-12+ years of experience in data/BI analytics/big data delivery
-Experience with Snowflake, Tableau or highly-similar BI analytics toolsets
-Ability to facilitate and negotiate decisions between business and technical stakeholders, including building decision frameworks where options can be objectively analyzed and solution paths determined.
-Supply chain/logistics experience a plus
-Assess desired key business capabilities in order to design a data and BI analytics solution that will drive the desired business outcomes.
-Acts as the lead facilitator across teams for the translation of business objectives and requirements for the BI team into functional specifications and technical architecture
-Strong understanding of data rationalization, to ensure that the desired data insights can be successfully tied back to data and information within the application network.
-Collaborate with various system teams to determine current and future state data sourcing requirements, and evaluate impacts to being able to achieve desired business insights from the BI solution.
-Facilitate and negotiate decisions between business and technical stakeholders, involving scope and critical-path issues, order to help objectively evaluate each design options and determine the best path forward
-Oversee system development teams - both internal and vendor - to ensure BI solutions being developed can be adapted to work on current or planned infrastructure as required.
-Report to VP of PMO, and is comfortable with delivering executive-level presentations to senior executive leadership involving progress to date, planned next steps and issues requiring attention.
