Job Description:

* Carries out and performs Facilities Helpdesk requests as assigned.

* Assists with routine safety and maintenance inspections at office sites.

* Sets up and re configures conference rooms and break rooms as requested.

* Supports the Purchasing Department with deliveries.

* Provides back-up for other facilities functions.

* Performs administrative and miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

* A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but candidates with proven experience will not be excluded from consideration.

* A minimum of 1 year experience of facilities management or property management

* Skilled trade training experience desired (electrical, carpentry, etc.)

* Strong customer service experience required

* Time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.

* Detail-oriented; flexible and creative.

* Interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively with all levels of staff.

* Basic mechanical ability and working knowledge of modular furniture systems.

* Ability to operate a dolly and/or pallet jack to move boxes/pallets weighing up to 400 lbs.

* PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Regularly required to work standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.).

* Occasionally required to sit for long periods of time, and regularly stand and walk.

* Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment.

* Close vision required for computer usage.

* Regularly required to stoop, kneel and climb.

* Receiving, transporting and distribution tasks may require lifting up to 50 lbs; climbing may exceed ceiling height.

* Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.

* Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment.

* Ability to clearly present written information and findings.

* Ability to communicate concepts.

* Ability to interact well with co-workers and outside contacts


Required Skills:

The candidate must be okay with a start time of 8 am M-F

Exposure to Facilities, but will train on this if needed

Facilities experience in a corporate environment

Property Management exp

Proactive, go-getter

Self- managed

Timely on executing requests

This candidate may have to commute to the San Francisco Delta Dental office on some occasions


***Punctuality and attendance is a MUST for this role! The ideal candidate should have the expectation to arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. Heavy phone call volume. This position is a temp-to-perm opportunity.
