This candidate needs to have a base comfort level with development tools support. Focus on static code analysis and build tools for this role.40. What are the Top 3-5 Skills needed to perform this role/job?: a. Experience with on prem (in our public cloud environments) versions of development tools applicationsb. Experience with SonarQube and experience with either Coverity, Veracode or other security scanning software is PREFERRED, but not a hard requirement c. Experience with source control (Git and possibly others), build orchestration tools (Jenkins, etc.,) and documentation and collaboration softwared. Works on tool improvement projects as assigned Supports tool initiatives and processes across Jeppesen (This may include such items as the day to day activity of developing a process around managing the tools, following the process through the lifecycle, and any actions required as part of the process) Supports the development of efficient tool strategies and tool integrations for Jeppesen's global locations Supports tool integrations between the tools supported for global locations Monitors the performance of tools and suggests improvement opportunities working with ITS Partners with the development team to work in DevOps deployment of architected solutions Participates as an active team member and participant in on call, planned maintenance, production outages, and projectsBachelor s degree in Computer Science or in a related field of study and typically 8+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Infrastructure (sysadmin, database, network, cloud).
